Built in the 30's on the old stables created by architect Francesco Sabatini, hence its name, and located in the northern part of the Palacio Real (royal palace), are the famous gardens of Sabatini. A monumental French-style gardens where you can find a beatiful pond crowned by several sculptures of ancient Spanish kings, various fountains and a large assortment of plants, such as magnolias, cypresses, cedars, maples, boxwoods, roses ... Plants that gardeners of the palace takes good care, carving them with geometrical shapes that fits the neoclassical style of the palace. In 1972 monumental stairs was built within the gardens making it easy for public access. The gardens of Sabatini are the perfect resting spot after a long walk through the center of Madrid.
