Cavamar

This new Mediterranean restaurant sits right on Barceloneta beach. It has three different dining areas inside. The ground floor is the most relaxed and colourful, and perfect for an aperitif. The first floor is more formal but light and airy, thanks to its large windows overlooking the sea, and the terrace has good views. Extensive and varied tapas menu on offer.

They serve traditional Mediterranean cuisine, which is all of a high standard, but not very adventurous. It has good rice and fish dishes, such as turbot with confit tomatoes and asparagus.
